We are a family-run swim school providing small group and private lessons for children from 2.5 years upwards.
About Us
We are proud to be the only swimming school chosen in Hertfordshire to work with the charity Space Hertfordshire, helping our neurodivergent community learn to be safe and happy in their bespoke water sessions.
Swimology follows the high standards of the Swim England ‘Learn to Swim Pathway,’ a world-recognised program for teaching swimming.

Class Types
Pre-Schoolers
Pre-Schoolers (2.5 – 4 years) – Discovery classes, ideal for nervous beginners.
Confident Beginners
Confident Beginners (3 years and up) – For children who have been swimming but no formal lessons.
Stage 1 to Stage 4
Stage 1 to Stage 4 – For children who do not need flotation aids. Swim front and back 5m to 25m.
Elite Swimmers
Elite Swimmers – For children who can swim 25m+ and have achieved their Stage 5 level.

Our pool in Stevenage is open 7 days a week. It’s a balmy 32 degrees, so perfect for little ones and those sensitive to coldness.

Our larger pool at Heath Mount School is perfect for both little and older children. We also run lane lessons for our 'top squad' swimmers.
